SLT provides the operational management of the Ryland Centre located in Bromsgrove on behalf of Worcestershire County Council and we are now looking to appoint a dynamic, self motivated Assistant General Manager to join our team.
The Ryland Centre has grown from strength to strength and now has a thriving membership for its fitness gym and exciting group fitness programme and spin studio. The centre also provides modern sporting and community facilities, an extensive programme of activities for all ages and meets the highest accessibility standards for disabled people. The centre has also been recognised by its customers in winning the 2014 Gold Award at the Customers Health Club Choice awards for Best Mid Market Club in the West Midlands.
We are now looking to recruit an Assistant General Manager who will work with the General Manager to continue to drive this success forward. The candidate must be able to demonstrate proven entrepreneurial flair, commercial ability, energy and determination to continue to grow the business. You will form part of the team and be an integral part of both the managing and running of the day to day operations.
The role will require you to:-
- Assist the General Manager to drive and deliver commercial performance.
- Drive and deliver marketing activities within a significant annual marketing budget.
- Lead and motivate a team of staff.
- Working to support the General Manager to deliver exceptional results through a target driven approach that supports the centres commitment to continuous improvement.
Candidates will also have a proven and successful track record of operational management, including marketing and staff management; must be passionate about customer service, entrepreneurial, resilient and adaptable to change and have a can do approach.
