Suspensions

How do I suspend my membership?

Complete this online form and the team will get this arranged for you. Please do not cancel the direct debit linked to your membership as that will cancel your membership. Your membership will re-start on the date you request. 


I have suspended my membership but want to start back sooner?

Not a problem, email the membership team and they can get your membership active: memberships@slt-leisure.co.uk. Please include your membership number, name and address.


Is there a minimum notice period for suspending my membership?

Yes, we require 30 days notice. You must have completed all minimum contractual payments before suspending your membership. 


Cancellations

How do I cancel my membership?

Complete this online form and the team will get this arranged for you.


Is there a minimum notice period for cancelling my membership?

Yes, we require 30 days notice. You will be invoiced for any outstanding contractual payments.  


How can I find out what contract I am tied into?

I want to cancel within 14 days, do I have to pay anything to cancel?

You will need to pay for any usage of the facilities which exceeds the initial payment you made when you joined.


I have received an invoice for an outstanding payment for my membership?

If you have cancelled within your contract, you will be invoiced for any outstanding payments. You can still use the facilities for this period once the payment has been made. You can pay this on your Leisure Hub account by going to ‘My Debts’.



General

I have joined but want to swap my membership to another type? 

Please advise reception and they will make the arrangements to change your membership


I need to change my bank details.

Please complete a new Direct Debit Instruction, you can obtain this at reception.


I need to change my address.

Please notify reception and they will amend this for you.


Can I transfer my membership to someone else?

The memberships are non-transferrable.


I need to cancel a booking made on my membership account.

You can cancel your booking online by logging into the members area and selecting ‘cancel’. The option to cancel will not show after the four-hour deadline has passed.


I have lost my membership wristband/sticker.

Please visit reception for a replacement. These are at the cost of £2.00.


My Direct Debit payment has not been taken this month. What do I need to do?

You can make a manual payment either at the Leisure Centre or on your Leisure Hub account which will be showing in the ‘My debts’ section.
